Why was Greater Love started?
For Aaron, growing up in the Roman Catholic Church while being sexually attracted to other guys was a kind of hell on earth.
He didn't feel or think that there was anyone in his life who he could trust with his struggle or who had the tools he needed to navigate the spiritual, psychological, or social traps that he found himself caught in. This experience was one he never wanted any other boy or girl to experience.
But as he grew older, the American Culture became more bent and, in many ways, there seemed to be less help than ever coming from the Catholic hierarchy.
In response to this loss of direction Aaron started "Greater Love" with the hope that he would be able to use the platform to give individuals who struggle with their sexuality the tools they need to flourish in the Catholic Church.
Aaron's Bio
Aaron Brown is a Roman Catholic male in his 30s. The oldest of five siblings, he was homeschooled through high school.
In high school he developed a sexual attraction to other males and and greatly struggled to figure out how to reconcile those feelings with his Faith.
In order to find this reconciliation he studied at the University of Mary in North Dakota and in 2017 graduated with Bachelors in Philosophy and Theology. Later on in 2022, realizing that he would need more comprehensive insight into the human condition he returned to the University of Mary and obtained a Masters in Catholic Studies.
Aaron enjoys Public Speaking, Anime, Singing, Video Games, Camping, Street Evangelization, Canoeing, Debating, Pro-Life Apologetics, Theatre, Dungeons & Dragons, and Good Music.
